Red, white & blue doesn’t have to be patriotic!
Thursday, September 3rd, 2009When you hear “red, white and blue” you probably think of the 4th of July and all things patriotic. However, when slightly different shades are chosen, the look is modern and can be elegant or even whimsical. Be sure to include enough white to balance out the strong hues.
This color scheme would be appropriate for practically any season. Darken up the red a bit for winter, maybe choose turquoise for a vibrant summer effect. Here are some of my favorite things for a red, white and blue wedding:
